The Giant black bamboo gate (100 x 200 cm) comes fully assembled, including a reliable lock. All you need to do is assemble it. Keep a few important tips in mind for a neat finish and a long lifespan.

Mounting between uprights:

Secure the gate between two sturdy hardwood posts that are firmly anchored to the ground or secured with post holders. Make sure the posts are square and level so the gate opens and closes smoothly.

Placement advice:

Maintain at least 2 cm of clearance between the bottom of the door and the ground. This prevents contact with damp ground and potential long-term damage.

Confirmation:

The gate comes with hinges and a lock. Screw the hinges securely to the hardwood posts and check that the gate moves smoothly. Then install the lock in the desired location on the opposite side and test its operation thoroughly before completing the installation.

Tips:

Preferably use stainless steel screws to prevent rust formation.
If desired, finish the uprights with halved bamboo poles to create a beautiful whole in combination with a Giant garden screen.
Do not install the gate door until the uprights are fully secured and aligned.
