Our bamboo decking boards are made for outdoor use and can certainly withstand rain. The bamboo decking is also extremely resistant to mold. Slipperiness can sometimes occur if algae forms on the surface of the boards. You can prevent this by regularly brushing the boards with a broom.

Bamboo grows up to 1 meter per day and is ready for harvest after 4-5 years, while hardwood takes decades. Bamboo plantations don't need to be replanted; only the mature stems are harvested, while new shoots continue to grow.
