Our bamboo decking boards are treated for outdoor use. With durability class 1, a bamboo decking board has a lifespan of >25 years. In addition, they are mould-resistant, resistant to salt water and contain little formaldehyde. Bamboo decking boards are extremely hard, wear-resistant, dimensionally and torsionally stable and have an excellent fire safety class. Of course, we cannot forget: they are environmentally friendly and CO₂-neutral.

Periodic cleaning and, if necessary, treatment with oil to preserve the colour is recommended. Regularly use a stiff broom to brush dirt off the boards. Preferably use a bamboo oil for decking boards once a year. Use the Bamboo Shield Nano Exterior to help brown boards retain their beautiful colour. For dark bamboo decking boards, the Bamboo Shield Thermo Exterior is the best choice.

Our bamboo decking boards are made for outdoor use and can certainly withstand rain. The bamboo decking is also extremely resistant to mould. Slipperiness can sometimes occur if algae forms on the surface of the boards. You can prevent this by regularly brushing the boards with a broom.

Our bamboo decking planks have durability class 1, which means they last more than 25 years.

Bamboo decking planks are easy to work with using standard woodworking tools and can be mounted onto a wooden subframe. The included mounting clips allow you to securely install the planks.

Bamboo grows up to 1 meter per day and is ready for harvest after 4-5 years, while hardwood takes decades. Bamboo plantations don't need to be replanted; only the mature stems are harvested, while new shoots continue to grow.
