Payment options
Yes, the Masters of Bamboo website is powered by Shopify and uses the secure Shopify Checkout.
You can pay in our webshop with:
- iDeal : Secure payment with internet banking via your own Dutch bank.
- BanContact : Pay securely with internet banking via your own Belgian bank.
- Credit card : Pay securely with your Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Maestro or UnionPay credit card.
- Shop Pay: An accelerated checkout where customers store their email address, credit card, and shipping and billing information, making the checkout process faster and easier.
- Apple Pay: Pay quickly, easily and securely with your iPhone or iPad. Confirm the payment with Face ID or Touch ID.
- Google Pay: Pay quickly, easily and securely with your iOS and Android devices. Select the desired credit or debit card and confirm the payment with Face ID or Touch ID.

Would you rather pay by bank transfer? Please contact us. Please note that processing a bank transfer can take a few days and that you will therefore have to wait a little longer for your order.
All payment methods are free, we do not charge any payment fees.
It is only possible to pay cash when you visit our store in Beverwijk. Unfortunately, we do not accept cash payments at the door.
Yes. When you place an order with your Visa or Mastercard, the amount is reserved on your credit card. The actual debit is only made after delivery. You also have the option to pay with Klarna, so you postpone the payment for a while, but you can already enjoy your purchase. In this way, you pay afterwards.
No, unfortunately it is not possible to exchange a VVV voucher with us.

Gift Cards and Discount Codes
Yes, of course! If you want to surprise someone or make them happy, give them a gift card from Masters of Bamboo! You can choose the amount of the card yourself. Order the gift card by sending an email to customer service .
You can win Masters of Bamboo discount codes by participating in our photo contest.
Enter the gift card code or discount code in the checkout screen. The amount of a voucher is visible as a total discount amount during checkout. If the amount of your order is higher than the amount of the voucher, you will pay the remaining amount in another way. If you do not use a voucher credit in full, the remaining balance will remain on your voucher.
After completing your order, you will receive an order confirmation at the email address you provided. This will show the net prices per item including the discount calculated by redeeming the code.
Of course you can also use the gift card and discount code in our store. However, you cannot exchange a gift card for money or have it credited to your account.
Our gift cards and discount codes have an expiration date. You can no longer use gift cards and discount codes after the expiration date. You can find the expiration date on your gift card or in the email with your discount code. Should your gift card or discount code work but you still get an error message? Please contact us.
By default, a gift card is valid for 2 years. You cannot extend it.
The validity of discount codes varies and depends on the promotion.
Have you forgotten how much money is left on your gift card or discount code? No problem. Place any product in your shopping cart and view your 'order'. Enter the code from your voucher, and the credit will automatically appear in the calculation of the total. If this does not work, please contact us. With the code on your gift card or discount code, we can look up how much money is left on it.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to offset a discount code or gift card after placing an order. If the order has not yet left our warehouse, you can cancel the order in 'my orders' in your Masters of Bamboo account and place it again with the discount code. You can of course also use the discount code or gift card with your next order.
It's a shame that you've lost your gift card or discount code. We can't promise anything, but there may still be something in our administration. Please contact our customer service for this.
Did you pay with a gift card but return the ordered product or cancel the order? Then we will not refund the money to the gift card, but we will make the value of the gift card available as store credit. Only our customer service can apply store credit for you. Contact us to settle the credit when you want to order something.
Invoicing
You will receive the invoice for your order by email as soon as we have received your payment.
Can't find your invoice? Send an email to our customer service and include the order number. We will then send you the correct invoice.
Do you have any questions about your business invoice? Please contact us.
Is there something wrong with your invoice? We can check whether we can still adjust this for you. Please let us know as precisely as possible what is wrong. An invoice may be adjusted within 30 days of being drawn up. You will receive a credit note from us, which will cancel your current invoice. You will receive a new adjusted invoice in your mailbox within 3 working days. Please contact customer service for this.
Do you want to add a reference to your invoice? Or do you want to change your billing address, for example because you made a typo or live abroad? Then contact our customer service. Your invoice may be adjusted within 30 days after it was created. You will receive a credit note from us, which will cancel your current invoice. You will receive a new adjusted invoice in your mailbox within 3 working days.
Refunds
As soon as we have received and processed your return, we will refund you. How quickly you will have the money in your account depends on your payment method. We always pay 5 working days after processing the return. Is the amount still not in your account after 10 working days? Then contact our customer service.

Unfortunately, you cannot check the status of your refund, but we assure you that the payment will be made within 5 working days after canceling your order or within 5 working days after processing the return shipment. We will refund you using the payment method you used to pay. For example, if you paid with iDEAL, you will receive the amount back. Did you pay with a gift or discount voucher? Then you will receive the money back in the form of a store credit. You will receive a confirmation email when the money has been refunded and/or you will receive a store credit. Only our customer service can create a store credit for you. Contact us to settle the credit when you want to order something.
