How to install a bamboo fence:

  1. Protect the uprights
Treat the bottoms of the uprights (part that goes into the ground) withBamboo Ground Protectorto protect them from moisture and wear. Tip: Grease the bamboo poles at least 1 day in advance to help them dry.
  2. Choose the location
Determine where you want to place the bamboo fence and make sure that there are no cables or pipes running there.
  3. Dig or drill holes
Make the holes where the posts will be placed and dig at least 60 cm deep.
  4. Place the bamboo fence
Place the bamboo fence in the holes and adjust it level and to the desired height.
If the ground is wet and unstable, we recommend anchoring the uprights in concrete.
  5. Fill in the gaps
Fill the holes well with soil and compact it firmly so that the bamboo fence is stable.
  6. Drying / Settling
Allow the concrete to harden properly and the ground to settle before using the bamboo fence.
  7. Protect

With these steps, your bamboo fence, bicycle fence, bicycle bracket or guide fence can be installed easily and safely.
