With the Facade Clips Nano, you can easily and virtually invisibly attach Nano bamboo cladding boards to the substructure. The clips engage with the special profiling of the cladding board, keeping the fixing screws neatly out of sight. The result is a sleek, finished bamboo facade without unsightly visible fixings.

The Facade Clips Nano are made of stainless steel and are supplied in a stainless steel-coloured finish. Each clip is attached to the substructure with a single screw. A package contains 20 Facade Clips Nano including 20 corresponding screws.

For a sturdy substructure, you can use, among other options, the Bamboo Beam Titan. Mount the battens level, stable and in line, maintaining a spacing of approximately 400–500 mm.

Masters of Bamboo sells various types of bamboo cladding boards. Each cladding board has its own matching fixing system. Therefore, always check before ordering that you are selecting the correct facade clips for your type of bamboo cladding.

First, determine whether you want to mount the bamboo cladding boards horizontally or vertically. For horizontal installation of the Nano Six, mount the battens vertically. For vertical installation, mount the battens horizontally. Always ensure that the underlying façade construction provides sufficient space for ventilation and water drainage.

Please note: The Façade Clips Nano are specially developed for the Nano Six bamboo cladding boards. You attach the clips to the back side of the board; this is the side with the fewest grooves. The side with six grooves is always the visible side.

Create a sturdy substructure, for example using Bamboo Beam Titan. Mount the battens flat, stable and in line, with a spacing of approximately 400–500 mm.

Pay extra attention to the first cladding board. A small deviation at the start will carry through to the rest of the façade. Therefore, carefully check with a spirit level or laser that the first board is placed exactly straight, level or plumb.

Secure the first board firmly to the substructure with a stainless steel screw approximately every 50 cm. Always pre-drill the bamboo and preferably place the screws in a groove, so they are barely visible after installation.

Then, at each batten, place a Façade Clip Nano into the designated profiling of the cladding board. Secure each clip with one screw to the substructure.

Place the next Nano cladding board against the mounted board and ensure that the profile clicks properly into the clips. Repeat this board by board and regularly check in between that the façade remains straight.

The Cladding Clips Nano are made of stainless steel and, when correctly installed, require little maintenance. After installation the clips are largely located behind the bamboo cladding boards, so they are barely visible and only limitedly exposed.

Check the cladding periodically for loose parts and make sure ventilation and water drainage behind the facade remain unobstructed. When maintaining the bamboo cladding boards, follow the maintenance instructions for the relevant type of bamboo cladding.

If replacement is ever needed, always use the correct fixing clip for the relevant type of cladding board. Different bamboo cladding boards may require a different clip system.
