The Giant 100 x 200 cm natural bamboo garden gate is a robust, high- quality garden gate that combines beautifully with our Giant bamboo screens. This custom-made gate has a galvanized steel internal frame for extra strength and is finished with durable Azobé hardwood sides.

The front and back are fitted with halved Indonesian bamboo poles with a diameter of 6–8 cm, creating a robust, natural look. The door is approximately 10 cm thick and is available in a left- or right-handed version.

This Giant bamboo gate arrives ready to use, complete with a sturdy lock. Installation is simple, but pay attention to a few key details for a beautiful finish and longevity.

Installation of bamboo gate door between uprights:

Always place the gate between sturdy hardwood posts that are firmly anchored to the ground or securely fastened in post holders. Ensure both posts are square and level to ensure smooth gate movement.

Placement advice:

When installing, allow at least 2 cm of clearance between the bottom of the gate and ground level. This prevents the gate from coming into direct contact with damp ground, which helps prevent long-term damage.

Confirming the door:

The gate comes complete with hinges and a stainless steel lock. Attach the hinges securely to the hardwood post and check that the gate opens and closes smoothly. Then install the lock at the desired height on the opposite side. Test its operation thoroughly before completing the installation.

Tips:

Preferably use stainless steel screws to prevent rust formation.
If necessary, finish the uprights with halved bamboo poles to create one beautiful whole in combination with aGiant garden screen.
