This unique bamboo pole holder with base Ø 40 mm has been specially developed for firmly attaching and anchoring bamboo pergolas. It is also ideal for mounting individual bamboo poles on hard surfaces such as tiles, decking, floors, walls, or ceilings.

The clever design allows the bamboo pole to be easily slid over the holder. This makes it a universal system suitable for bamboo poles with a diameter of 8 cm or more. Because the pole is mounted slightly above ground, you prevent moisture absorption and significantly extend its lifespan.

The pole holder is supplied complete with stainless steel bolts, nuts and washers, so you can mount it easily and securely. Ideal for placing a bamboo pergola or for example a Dagua bicycle rack.

Manual Bamboo Pole Holder with Base Ø 40 mm

1. Prepare the bamboo pole:
Start by fitting the pole holder into the bamboo pole. Remove any spacers (nodes) that might be blocking the insertion. If there's a node, carefully drill through it with a threaded rod or lightly hammer the pole holder through it. It is best to attach the poles just above the base plate, to prevent moisture absorption and rot. Then mark the holes for the pole holder on the bamboo pole and drill 10mm holes in these spots. Temporarily secure the pole with the supplied M8 bolts, nuts, and washers, checking that the pole is securely fastened. Then remove the pole from the pole holder.

2. Mounting the pole holder on the surface:
Securely mount the pole holder to a paved surface, such as paving stones, concrete, or a deck. Use suitable mounting screws (not included).

3. Placing the bamboo pole:
Slide the bamboo pole back over the mounted pole holder and secure it again with the supplied M8 bolts, nuts and washers.

Done! Your bamboo pole is now sturdy and protected from moisture.
