With the Cladding Clips Thermo you can attach bamboo cladding boards Thermo to the substructure easily and almost invisibly. The clips engage in the special profile of the cladding board, so the fixing screws stay neatly out of sight. The result is a sleekly finished bamboo facade without distracting visible fasteners.

Thanks to the hidden fixing, the Cladding Clips Thermo are barely visible to begin with. The black powder coating makes them blend in even more between the dark Thermo bamboo cladding boards, for an extra sleek end result. Each clip is fixed to the substructure with one screw. One pack contains 20 Cladding Clips Thermo including 20 matching screws.

For a sturdy substructure you can use, among other options, Bamboo Beam Titan. Install the battens flat, stable and in line, keeping a spacing of approximately 400–500 mm between them.

Masters of Bamboo sells several types of bamboo cladding boards. Each cladding board has its own matching fixing system. Therefore, always check before ordering that you are choosing the right cladding clips for your type of bamboo cladding.

First decide whether you want to install the bamboo cladding boards horizontally or vertically. For horizontal installation of the Thermo Triple, place the battens vertically. For vertical installation, place the battens horizontally. Always make sure the facade structure behind the cladding leaves enough space for ventilation and water drainage.

Please note: The Cladding Clips Thermo can only be fixed to the flat side of the cladding board. The side with the three grooves is always the visible side.

Build a sturdy substructure, for example with Bamboo Beam Titan. Install the battens flat, stable and in line, with a spacing of approximately 400–500 mm.

Pay extra attention to the first cladding board. A small deviation at the start carries through the rest of the facade. Therefore, use a spirit level or laser to check carefully that the first board is placed perfectly straight, level and plumb.

Fix the first board firmly to the substructure with a black stainless steel screw approximately every 50 cm. Always pre-drill the bamboo and preferably place the screws in a groove, so that they are barely visible after installation.

Then place a Cladding Clip Thermo at each batten in the designated profile of the cladding board. Fix each clip to the substructure with one screw.

Place the next Thermo cladding board against the installed board and make sure the profile fits properly into the clips. Repeat this board by board and check regularly along the way that the facade stays straight.

The Cladding Clips Thermo are finished with a black powder coating and, when installed correctly, require little maintenance. After installation the clips are largely located behind the bamboo cladding boards, so they are barely visible and only limitedly exposed.

Check the cladding periodically for loose parts and make sure ventilation and water drainage behind the facade remain unobstructed. When maintaining the bamboo cladding boards, follow the maintenance instructions for the relevant type of bamboo cladding.

If you need to replace clips, always use the correct fixing clip for the relevant type of cladding board. Different bamboo cladding boards may require a different clip system.

For Thermo bamboo cladding boards, therefore, use the Cladding Clips Thermo designed for them. That way you know the clip fits the profile correctly and the cladding board can be installed properly.

The bamboo cladding boards must be installed on a sturdy, flat and stable substructure. For this you can use, for example, Bamboo Beam Titan. When building the substructure, make sure there is sufficient ventilation and good water drainage behind the cladding.

For the substructure of the Thermo bamboo cladding boards, we recommend a spacing of approximately 400 to 500 mm between the battens. Make sure all battens are installed flat, stable and in line.

The Cladding Clips Thermo are finished with a black powder coating. Thanks to the hidden fixing, the clips are barely visible anyway, but the black colour makes them blend in even better between the dark Thermo bamboo cladding boards. This gives a sleek, calm end result.
