Complete your bamboo fence with the Giant Natural garden gate (100 x 90 cm). A unique and artisan design, entirely handmade by the Masters of Bamboo. The low fence gate is supplied with a metal frame clad with hardwood and half-round Tali bamboo poles (Ø 6-8 cm). The bamboo garden gates are delivered complete with hinges, thumb plates and a handy gate lock, allowing you to easily close off your front garden. Thanks to the sturdy metal frame and the included metal mounting hardware finished with black powder coating, our garden gate is immediately ready for installation. It can be delivered left or right opening and is beautifully finished on both sides. This bamboo fence gate is perfect to use as a stylish partition for the front garden and looks great combined with a bamboo fence, namely our Giant fences or Half-round bamboo fencing screens.

Are you looking for a stylish and natural enclosure for your front garden? Then our Bamboo garden gate Giant Natural 100 x 90 cm is a beautiful solution. This garden gate has been developed by us and is handmade in our workshop. You won't find it anywhere else. Thanks to our years of experience with bamboo fence products, we know exactly what a good and sturdy garden gate needs to meet. This garden gate has a lifespan of no less than 15 years.

This garden gate is made from durable Tali Bamboo poles (Ø 6-8 cm) and is combined with a strong metal frame. The mounting hardware included is finished with a black powder coating, ensuring a stylish, neat appearance. The top of the gate is neatly finished with a hardwood plank. This is how we developed a sturdy and durable garden gate.

The garden gate is delivered complete with a thumb plate hanging system, hinges and a handy gate lock, allowing you to easily close it and it automatically locks into place. This makes it easy to use in your front garden. You can choose between a left- or right-opening version, entirely depending on your front garden. Custom sizes are also available on request (at an additional cost). This model perfectly matches our Giant and Half-round bamboo fences. Ideal for a neatly defined front garden.

Preparation:

Always ensure a stable surface and sturdy posts or fences between which the gate can be mounted. Check in advance whether you need a left- or right-opening version, so that you place the hanging system on the correct side. We recommend positioning the gate at least 2 cm above the ground. This prevents the gate from jamming or not opening fully.

Installing the garden gate:

First, determine the correct position between the posts or fence. It is helpful to use a spirit level during installation, so that the garden gate hangs perfectly straight. Securely attach the supplied hinge plate to the post. Then hang the gate in the hinge plate and check that it opens and closes smoothly. Next, firmly secure the supplied hinges. Finally, install the gate latch so that the gate closes neatly and automatically locks into place.

Important tip: Use suitable fastening materials during installation and always pre-drill into hardwood posts, otherwise your screws may break. (screws are not included)

We supply our Bamboo Garden Gate Giant Natural untreated. This allows you to determine its appearance yourself. Thanks to our years of experience with bamboo fences and garden products, we have our own range of bamboo maintenance products. These products are specially tailored to maintaining and protecting our bamboo products.

Cleaning

If the gate has become dirty due to rain, dust or anything else, you can first clean it with water and a soft brush.
For stubborn dirt or early greying, you can use our Bamboo Cleaner 500ML. This is a specially developed cleaner and de-greyer that effectively removes dirt, deposits and mould.

Protection

To maintain the natural colour of bamboo, we recommend treating it annually with Bamboo Protector, a specially developed UV-resistant stain that slows down greying, so your bamboo stays beautiful for longer.

Discolouration

Has the warm, natural colour of your bamboo gate become heavily greyed and can no longer be restored by cleaning? Then you can use our Bamboo Renovator Natural 1L. This renovating stain is water-based and deepens the colour of the bamboo again. The more layers you apply, the more effect you will see.

Important facts/tips:

  • Small cracks and colour differences are part of bamboo because it is a natural product. This is normal and has no effect on the lifespan or strength of the bamboo.
  • Check the gate regularly, and treat it again if necessary with our Bamboo Protector 1L or Bamboo Renovator Natural 1L.
  • Regular maintenance with the right products can extend the lifespan of your bamboo front garden gate.
