This Bamboo Garden Gate Budget Natural 100 x 200 cm is a sturdy and natural gate for your garden. The garden gate is handmade by the Masters of Bamboo from sturdy Tali bamboo slats. The slats are mounted on a strong metal frame and finished with hardwood sides. This makes the fence gate sturdy and stable for daily use. This garden gate is available in left- or right-opening versions and is delivered complete with a stainless steel door lock, door handle, and mounting materials. The gate combines perfectly with our Bamboo Budget Natural Fences. This way, you can easily create a beautiful ensemble with a neat bamboo passageway in your garden.

The gate is constructed from high-quality Tali bamboo slats, 4 cm wide. For maximum sturdiness, the slats are mounted on a steel frame, neatly finished with hardwood sides. This ensures that the gate doesn't sag and guarantees a long lifespan, even with intensive daily use.
Extra convenient: the garden gate is delivered completely ready to go. You receive it including strong hinges, a stainless steel door lock with key and door handle. This allows you to install it directly and easily.

With dimensions of 100 x 200 cm and a thickness of just 5 cm, this tall, compact bamboo gate fits in virtually any garden. Our budget garden gate is delivered ready to use. You only need to install it. When installing, pay attention to a few important points to ensure a neat finish and a long lifespan. 

Important points for hanging: 

  • When ordering, check whether a left-opening or right-opening garden gate best suits your situation.
  • Make sure you have a spirit level at hand. This makes it easy to see if the garden gate hangs straight.
  • Hang the garden gate at least 2 cm above the ground. This prevents the gate from absorbing moisture, thereby extending its lifespan.

Hanging: 

  • Make sure the garden gate is mounted between two sturdy posts.
  • Attach the garden gate using the included thumb plate hanging system and hinges. Do this at multiple points so that the garden gate hangs stably and doesn't wobble.
  • Check that all screws and mounting materials are firmly tightened and that the garden gate opens and closes smoothly. 

Tip: You can optionally finish the posts with our half-round bamboo poles for a beautiful and natural look in your garden.

Our Bamboo Garden Gate Budget Natural (100 x 200 cm) is delivered untreated. This means you can decide the finish yourself: do you prefer matte or glossy? Do you want to give the gate extra protection against the weather, or restore its natural colour over time? No problem! Below we explain exactly how to do this with our maintenance products.

Basic maintenance:

Bamboo is a natural product, which means it can discolour due to sunlight and weather conditions. Small cracks are normal and do not affect the sturdiness of the garden gate. For extra protection from the start, we recommend using our Bamboo Protector 1L. This is a transparent water-based stain. This product will give your garden gate extra protection against UV rays, moisture and dirt, and will therefore extend the lifespan of your garden gate.

Restoring discolouration:

Has your garden gate discoloured over time due to UV and greying? Then use our Bamboo Renovator Natural 1L. This stain restores the natural colour of the bamboo and also provides extra protection. Please note: this contains pigment, so the more you apply, the deeper the colour will become. 

Cleaning: 

For regular maintenance, a damp cloth or a soft brush with water is sufficient. Is there stubborn dirt? Then we recommend our Bamboo Cleaner 500ML. This is a specially developed cleaning agent that will remove dirt without damaging the bamboo.

Tips for a long lifespan: 

  • Treat your garden gate regularly with our maintenance products. 
  • Check the hinges and lock from time to time, so that the garden gate continues to open and close smoothly.
