Assembly advice


For a sturdy and durable installation, mount the Douglas gate door between twopine woodorhardwoodGarden stakes (available separately). Ensure the stakes are securely anchored to the ground with concrete or stake holders to ensure the gate remains stable and doesn't sag.

The gate iscan be used in both left and right rotation. Because the hinges, the lock and the latchsupplied separately, you can easily determine which side the door should swing on during installation. This provides maximum flexibility during installation.

Mount the hinges securely to the post and then attach the lock and latch. When hanging the gate, always check that it hangs straight and opens and closes smoothly. This ensures years of trouble-free service.

Treatment after placement:After installation, apply a coat of oil or exterior stain. This protects against moisture and sun and helps preserve the color.
