The bamboo furniture board is a durable and elegant alternative to traditional wood. This solid bamboo plywood consists of three layers, with the bamboo planks vertically pressed, which contributes to a refined and stylish look.

Thanks to its strong, multi-layered structure, bamboo multiplex remains particularly stable and is highly resistant to warping. Ideal for interior projects, such as table tops, kitchen tops, cabinets and steps. In addition, bamboo sheet material can be easily treated with the topcoat lacquer so that it can be seamlessly integrated into your interior.

Bamboo multiplex is easy to work with and perfectly suited for various interior projects. Although bamboo board is harder than oak, it can be sawn, milled or drilled without any problems with standard woodworking tools. For a smooth and professional result, it is important to use sharp saws and drills.

Customizing bamboo plywood panels

    Use sharp wood drill bit(s) and work at a steady speed to avoid splitting the bamboo plywood.

Gluing and finishing

    Semi-finished and finished products can be bonded with a waterproof D3 adhesive. This is ideal for interior applications such as furniture and wall coverings.
  • Finishing
    To maintain the natural appearance and provide extra protection against dirt and moisture, the plywood panels can be treated with our topcoat lacquer.

Installation tips for bamboo plywood

Make sure the plywood panel is properly supported during installation to prevent bending.

For screw installations, it is advisable to pre-drill first to avoid cracking.

For an extra neat finish, the edges can be sanded and treated with a suitable edge sealer.

NB: Avoid conventional or turpentine-based varnishes as these can cause colour shifts and affect the natural look of bamboo multiplex.
