Install and customise a bamboo roller blind
How do you hang a roller blind? With our special hanging system and this step-by-step guide, you can install a bamboo roller blind yourself. Our roller blinds are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, and installation is quick and easy. You can also cut a custom bamboo roller blind by shortening the bamboo slats with a saw, preferably a fine-toothed one (Japanese saw).

1. Measure location
- Determine where the roller blind will go. Mark the hook locations with a pencil. We recommend placing the hooks about 30 centimeters from the end of the roller blind, so they don’t interfere with your roll-up system.

2. Attach Hooks
Drill holes at the marked locations. Use a suitable drill bit for the material.
- Screw the hooks firmly into the wall or frame.
3. Place the Roller Blind
- Hang the top rail on the hooks. Make sure it's securely fastened. Look at the detailed photos to see how you can best do this.
- Gently pull on the roller blind to check that it is hanging securely.
Adjust and Use
- Test whether the roller blind moves up and down smoothly.
- Check the drawstring and adjust if necessary.
