Masters of Bamboo visits NIF China – an inspiring journey of collaboration and growth

Since the beginning of this year, Masters of Bamboo has officially become part of the Wesemael Group – a strong organization consisting of several companies that complement each other in production, purchasing, and logistics.
One of those companies is NIF China , where much of the production and quality control for the group takes place.

With a team of more than 150 employees, our products are purchased, produced, checked, packed and shipped here every day.
A true addition and of great added value to our company.

A special visit to NIF China

Because collaboration for us is all about people, we thought it was time to meet our colleagues up close.
Jeroen , director of NIF China, is in charge of the day-to-day management of the company.
Together with my wife Sandra and our two sons Joey and Sam , I, Pim , decided to embark on an adventure during the autumn holidays and travel to China.

After a flight of over ten hours we arrived in the morning, where Jeroen was already waiting for us.
After a quick cup of coffee we drove straight to the new factory.
Despite it being Sunday, there was a lot of work going on – here, the weekend is not a given, but commitment and dedication are all the more so.

Impressive facilities and a pleasant working atmosphere

The new offices, warehouses and production halls were impressive to see.
Everything has recently been renovated and equipped with modern extraction, ventilation and logistics routing .
From the moment production starts to packaging and shipping, every detail has been considered .
The working atmosphere was professional but friendly – ​​you immediately feel the pride and motivation of the team.

Later that day we visited several factories where parts and materials are made for us, from packaging materials to fasteners .
The same energy everywhere: hard-working people with a passion for their profession .
It was wonderful to experience that spirit up close.

A cozy evening full of Chinese hospitality

In the evening we were invited to have dinner with our suppliers – a typical Chinese dinner with delicious food, lots of laughter and of course a "few" drinks.
After a few glasses of beer and a dash of Chinese rice wine, the microphone also came on the table: karaoke!
A cozy and unforgettable evening where business and friendship seamlessly merged.

Building the future together

In the days that followed we visited several suppliers and met the rest of the NIF China team.
We discussed new plans, opportunities and innovations – all with the same goal: to further grow Masters of Bamboo and serve our customers worldwide even better.

We look back on an inspiring week full of collaboration, culture and progress .
A big thank you to our colleagues in China for their warm welcome, dedication and hospitality.
We enjoyed it – and look to the future with confidence.
