That is why we are proud to announce that we have joined the Wesemael Group , a family-owned company with over 60 years of experience in the agricultural and horticultural sector. This strategic partnership enables us to take our mission of promoting sustainable bamboo solutions to the next level.

    The Wesemael Group is an established name in the agricultural sector and has developed into a major player in arable farming, tree nurseries, fruit growing and greenhouse horticulture. With more than 14 companies active in 60 countries and spread across 6 continents, this collaboration offers us enormous opportunities.

    A next step

    Our founders, Pim van der Eng and Sandra Bonne, have over two decades of experience in the world of bamboo. After the success of Bamboo Import Europe, which was sold in 2021, they founded Masters of Bamboo in 2024 to supply innovative and high-quality bamboo products to both the business and private markets.



    “Bamboo is a powerful and sustainable alternative that perfectly matches the needs of the modern market ,” says Pim van der Eng. “ Together with the Wesemael Group, we can strengthen our market position and further develop our products. Thanks to their global network and expertise, we can take great steps together.”

    Sandra Bonne adds: “ The collaboration increases our capacity to import bamboo more efficiently, also thanks to the Wesemael Group’s own factory. This enables us to further improve the quality and availability of our products. ”

    Bamboestokken.com strengthens Masters of Bamboo

    With the accession to the Wesemael Group, we also welcome Bamboestokken.com as part of Masters of Bamboo. This specialized webshop from Opheusden was already an established name within the Wesemael Group. By joining forces, we can offer customers an even wider and higher quality range. This enables us to respond even better to the increasing demand for sustainable bamboo products in the home and garden.
